Thief 2 - Triple bulb spotlights
--------------------------------

Three spotlights attached to a single base, may be useful in display areas.
Provided in two forms: one has the lights angled 18 degrees down from the
horizontal, the other has the lights at 45 degrees. This object is based
on my reimplementation of the Thief 2 walspot model.

Note that this does not cast three light spots - I haven't checked if it
would be possible to get three lights from one object, but I'd be surprised
if it was. You need to manually place two spot or omni lights for two of the
bulbs!

Contents
--------

This archive should contain the following files:

readme.txt - this file
trispot.jpg - picture of the two objects
obj/trispot.bin - 18 degree angle triple spot object
trispot45.bin - 45 degree angle triple spot object
src/trispot.3ds - 3dsmax model for the 18 degree spot
    trispot.e - edited .e file
    trispot45.3ds - 3dsmax model for the 45 degree spot
    trispot45.e - edited .e file

The contents of the src folder are not required to use these objects,
if you are not interested in the source objects, ignore the src
directory. No additional textures are required as this model reuses
textures supplied with Thief2.

Installing
----------

Unpack the archive somewhere, obj directory into your Thief2

a name clash, contact me at the addess below!

 2. Open physical -> Lights -> lanterns -> ElecWallLight
 3. Select WallSpotLight
 4. Click Add
       New Object Name: TriSpotLight
       Click OK
 5. Select TriSpotLight
 6. Click Edit
 7. Add Shape -> Model Name
       trispot
       Click OK
 8. Click Done
 9. Select TriSpotLight
10. Click Add
       New Object Name: TriSpot45
       Click OK
11. Select TriSpot45

13. Add Shape -> Model Name
       trispot45
       Click OK
14. Click Done
15. click Close.

a custom gamesys before, remember to use set_gamesys and save your .mis

Known Bugs
----------

1. Only one of the bulbs in each model actually emits light - the other two
are just lit up. You will need to place spot lights or omni lights in
appropriate places to simulate the effect of having three lit spots.
