Greetings, and thank you for choosing Bob's Quasi-Canonical Override Texurepack for Thief II!
(requires NewDark, batteries not included)

Installation:
1. First and foremost, this version needs an optimized install to work out of the box.
If the less tech-savvy of you are starting to feel the beginnigs of a headache right about now, don't; both DarkLoader and GarretLoader optimize your install automatically when setting up to run Fan Missions. If you can play FMs, you should be able to use this pack.
(Advanced users can obviously work around this step if they want to without me holding their hand.)
2. Extract FAM.crf into the now vacated base game folder, which for most is probably named "Thief2". (If it asks you if you want to overwrite a file with the same name, you dun goof'd. Attempt to see what went wrong with step one.)
3. Extract the "ddfix" folder into the folder named "RES".
4. The texture pack should now be working. Enjoy!

I will try to make the install process simpler for the end user in future versions.

In addition to textures made by mine own self, this version of the pack includes some resources from:
-The Enhancement Pack compiled by Nameless Voice, which you defintiely should use in tandem with this pack, if you don't already. See EP readme for full credits.
-Textures adapted from the work of Alun "Vigil" Bestor (thief.washboardabs.net)
-BerneyBoy's photorealistic texture collection. Original authors unknown, so if you see something, say something by PM to user Necrobob at the TTLG forums.

If you want to use the textures for your own purposes, be it Thief or otherwise, you're welcome to do so, as long as they're the ones I made myself. I cannot take credit for the work of others, after all.
Rummage around in the Enhancement Pack and Vigil's textures (high res versions sadly no longer downloadable, but you should get the gist anyway) and compare them to whatever texture(s) you have your eyes on. If still uncertain, PM me.
